Our History
ComForcare Senior Services began in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1996 as a company dedicated to establishing a new standard in the quality of non-medical home care services provided to seniors and disabled individuals in our communities. Our ability to provide an unparalleled quality of care has led to a rapid expansion of our business. Our success has been directly attributable to the meticulous selection of the most highly qualified, responsible and compassionate caregivers. We understand that it takes a special caregiver to carry out our services, a person who gains more from their job than a good wage. For this reason, we operate under the credo that we will only hire a caregiver whom we would feel comfortable sending into our own parent's home.
About Our Caregivers

Every ComForcare employee is meticulously SCREENED, BONDED and INSURED through a rigorous five-step hiring process. Each applicant must convincingly pass the following screening/testing protocols:
- National League of Nursing Competency
- OSHA Universal Precautions
- State Criminal History Clearance
- Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
- Verification of Adequate Work References
- State Driver's Record Clearance
- Personal Ethics Screening/Testing Protocol
- Continuing education in-services for caregivers
Private Duty Homecare
ComForcare Senior Services provides professional personal care and companionship services allowing our clients to safely remain in their own homes, senior living community or medical facility. Clinical research has revealed that people stay healthier and recover more quickly from illness or surgery in the comfort of their own home. However, today's busy lifestyles can deprive family and friends of the time and energy required to keep a loved one safely at home. Fortunately, we provide the necessary help to meet all of the daily needs of the home-bound individual.

Upon the initial phone call, ComForcare's schedulers will make an appointment at the potential client's home with our RN or Social Worker to assess the case.
Personal Response Systems - ADT From the worldwide leader in electronic safety and security devices
Through a strategic alliance with ADT Companion Services, ComForcare is able to provide customers with this additional peace of mind at favorable pricing by offering the personal response system.
ADT's Companion Services Product is a two-way voice communications system providing 24-hour connectivity to five national customer monitoring centers. In the event of a medical emergency or accident, the system can be activated at the push of a button, enabling notification of emergency personnel, family members, and others specified by the customer.
