Rehabilitative Care
Royal Suites’ designated rehabilitation and subacute unit is situated in its own wing, and features stately suites, with completely separate dining area and therapy gym. The rehab-subacute program is headed by Royal Suites’ in-house physiatrist, a doctor who specializes in rehabilitative care.
Using state of the art equipment and therapeutic techniques, Royal Suites’ rehabilitation unit provides comprehensive care for a complete spectrum of rehab needs
Most importantly, rehabilitative care at Royal Suites is goal oriented. Our therapists do their best to 'fast-track' each patient’s recovery, enabling them to return to a healthy, productive lifestyle as quickly as possible.
Memory Impaired Care
The optimal setting for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s or other cognitive disorders is an environment that recognizes and accommodates their special needs. Royal Suites offers a separate, secure Alzheimer’s unit, designed to address the unique challenges of these patients.
A specialized care program helps memory-impaired patients maximize their cognitive function. The activities program is also specifically designed to enhance sociability and enjoyment of life.
For those in advanced stages, Royal Suites’ Snoezelen room offers innovative sensory therapies, including audiovisual stimuli, with soothing, pastoral scenes, as well as aromatherapy.
The Alzheimer’s unit caregivers have a heightened sensitivity and understanding of the condition and its impact. They treat each resident with an extra measure of dignity and love.

Long Term Care
