Welcome to Atlantic Homelife Senior Care
We are a local, privately owned Medical Home Care company. We live and work right here on the seacoast of New Hampshire, and are your alternative to the large franchise home care companies. We treat all of our clients as individual and customize our care to your unique needs. We are dedicated to help keep our clients in the homes they love.
We believe no one should be forced to give up their home life just because they need a helping hand. Our team of dedicated professionals work closely with you to decide what services will best suit your needs, allowing you to maintain your independence and quality of life!!
Companion/Home Services
Our companion Services include keeping our clients company and engaging them in any number of activities such as conversation, reading, writing, games, crafts, playing cards, taking walks, visiting friends & neighbors, shopping, escorting clients to appointments, events, plays and religious services. Home Support Services include planning, cooking, and serving meals, baking for holidays and special occasions, general cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, washing dishes, laundry, ironing, changing beds, defrosting refrigerators/freezers, cleaning ovens/stoves and china cabinets. We also will care for house plants, take out garbage, oversee home deliveries and home maintenance, care for pets including feeding, exercising, and cleaning.
Personal Services
Personal Care Services include assisting with tasks such as grooming (hair care, shaving, cleaning teeth/dentures, makeup, dressing) hygiene (tub, bed or sponge baths, showers, toileting activities) mobilization (turning, lifts and transfers, exercising, walking) eating or feeding, as well as monitoring of vital signs such as blood pressures, pulse and respiration.
Nursing Services
Our licensed nursing professionals conduct an initial evaluation and assist in development a plan of care for our clients. Our licensed professional can also work with your physician to provide in home medical treatments and medication assistance as needed.
Patient Advocate
Our nurses work with you to help interpret and navigate the complex health care system. Whether that is through going to doctors appointments to make sure your questions get answered and you understand your diagnosis and options. We also can help set up plans to ensure your pre-and post hospitalization needs are meet. In addition we can help set up One on One Companion or Personal Care Services during hospital stays to insure our clients’ needs our meet during hospitalizations. We can also assist with paperwork such as bill paying, insurance claims and filling out applications.
