Making Life Easier

Home Helpers' care plans are tailored just for you. The services we provide often grow as our caregivers and seniors become more comfortable with each other. Just a few of the services we may provide include:  companionship, bathing, dressing, feeding, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, transportation to doctor’s office, pick-up prescriptions, errand services…and much more!

If you have a family member or loved one with special needs, we know that finding quality, in-home care is challenging and can often be overwhelming. Rest assured, many of our Caregivers have training and experience in specialty care areas such as Alzheimer's, dementia, arthritis, hospice care, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, mental and physical challenges and others. We provide our services with the same care, concern and compassion as a family member.

Our Caregivers

We carefully select our Caregivers to find the most compassionate, experienced and dependable people who truly enjoy helping others.

Unlike some agencies that use subcontractors, our caregivers are employees who are thoroughly screened and covered by workers' compensation insurance. We do this to ensure our clients are fully protected.

Once hired, each experienced Caregiver is matched to the individual needs of our clients, based on the information gathered during the FREE in-home consultation. The in-home consultation is very important and accomplishes the following:

• Properly assesses the client’s needs
• Makes sure services can be safely and properly performed in the home
• Matches the client’s needs and personality to an experienced caregiver with the necessary skills to provide the very best care and companionship

At Home Helpers, every client relationship is managed by an experienced supervisor who will make ongoing assessments and recommendations as the client’s needs change over time

Wide Variety of Care Plan Services

Home Helpers’ clients enjoy the benefit of selecting only those services that are needed:

• Companionship – A smiling face, a helping hand, ears to hear and a voice to encourage.  From conversation to cards, reading aloud to going for walks, our Caregivers focus on providing social and physical stimulation to keep people active and engaged.
• General Assistance – Everyday living activities such as housekeeping, laundry, preparing meals, sorting through the mail or organizing personal affairs often present challenges to people. Our caring staff can assist with household responsibilities making life easier for you and your loved ones.
• Personal Care – Dressing, grooming, hygiene and transferring from a bed to chair, or chair to a toilet are things that most people take for granted. These and other personal care activities can often be challenging to people as a result of age, illness, or injury. Our Caregivers can provide the assistance and encouragement to help people receive the level of care that is needed.
• Transportation – Whether getting to and from appointments, running errands, visiting the beauty parlor/barber shop or enjoying lunch at a nearby restaurant, it seems like our clients are always on the go. Our Caregivers assist clients in preparing for an outing, provide transportation, accompany them while away from home, and help them get settled as they return.

Flexible Care Plan Options

Home Helpers offers care plan options to ensure that our clients find the right mix of services and schedule that meets their needs.

• Client Determined Schedule - You have your own schedule, your own commitments. Home Helpers’ services can be tailored to meet your personal needs.  We work with our clients and their families to ensure that they receive the best possible care.  Care services can be scheduled for a few hours, a whole day, once a week, or every day.  Home Helpers offers flexible care plans tailored to meet your unique needs, schedule and budget. Care plans can be adjusted over the course of our service relationship to meet changing functional needs of the client.
• Location - Home Helpers provides personalized, non-medical, assisted living services anywhere a client and their family needs them … in their home, in the hospital, rehabilitation center, nursing home, retirement community, etc.
• Affordable Fees - Home Helpers services are affordable as each client and their family decides how often and when our services are needed.
